How many Pokemon are there – Pokémon in total, Generations

How many Pokemon are there?

How many Pokemon are there is not one of the most frequently asked questions? It is also one of the most challenging answers.

The recently introduced Pokemon Zarde is # 893, which is the most straightforward answer.

However, Calyrex and two new Regis (Regieleki and Regidrago) will be 894, 895, and 896 when released on the Crown Tundra DLC.

However, the 36 regional shapes of 35 different Pokemon (there are two in Meowth) complicate the answer.

Do they count as their seeds? If so, it adds up to 932. Mega Evolution is a measurement of a different Pokemon, its Pokedex entry, for 980.

However, the current official tally is 893.

If the series has existed in different media types for over 20 years, it will inevitably prompt a series of questions that always come up.

With countless games, multiple TV series, movies, collectible card games, manga series, merchandise, toys, and more, it’s virtually impossible to know everything about the world of Pokemon.

How many Pokémon in total are there?

Since the release of Pokemon Red and Blue 21 years ago, the number of Pokemon of the original 151 has grown significantly.

Pokémon have groups by generation.

Each generation introduces a new set of Pokémon abilities and moves. The total age is 8, and each has a new Pokémon added to the roster.

At the time of Pokemon Sword and Shield’s launch, there were a total of 890.

There are also Galarian and Arora forms, which National Dex added up to 921.

By counting the gender forms, appearances, differences, and alternate forms and types of all Pokemon, you will quickly get a total of over 1000 Pokemon.

However, the total number continues to increase over time from generation to generation. It starts with the age introduced in 199.6. Until the latest (Generation VII), the detailed guide is as follows.
